What is it?

Whole Kids Foundation, PACT and Indiegogo have teamed up to build 100 Urban Gardens Across America. They are giving gardens to communities across America. These gardens will serve as a source for children and adults about produce and agricultural processes.

Why it’s cool?

It’s cool because they want to learn children and adults that food does not come from a grocery store, but from a farmer. The campaign “Urban Gardens Across America” is designed to increase access to healthy food and empower adults and children to experience how food is grown, form seed to plant. This ensures transparency because consumers can see how their food is made and how it crows.
